Foxglove After Hours: Colour Your Own Book Edges

Join us for the very first Foxglove After Hours! A cozy evening of bookish crafting after the shop closes. 🌙📚

Bring a book from home and spend the evening transforming its plain page edges into something completely your own.

We’ll provide book presses, pencil crayons, acrylic markers, stencils and all the supplies you need, along with plenty of inspiration if you’re not sure where to start. Once your design is finished, we’ll seal the edges for you.

Make them floral, celestial, gothic, colourful, subtle, inspired by your book’s cover, or completely make it up as you go.

No artistic experience is necessary. This is meant to be relaxed, creative and fun.

Everything else will be provided.

Because this technique involves firmly clamping the book and applying colour directly to the page edges, we recommend choosing a book you’re comfortable experimenting with for your first attempt. 😉
